Great opportunity for a Nocturnist physician to join a well-respected healthcare facility in Northeastern CT about 1hr from Hartford.
- Board Certified Family Practice (FP) or Internal Medicine (IM) Physician
- Full-time, 12-hour shifts 7p-7a
- Alternation -hour shifts one month and -hour shifts the next month
- No block scheduling; approximately 20-21 shifts per month
- Typically see approx. 18+ patients
- It will be a mix of rounding and admissions
- Will be seeing ages 16+
- Open ICU - Hospitalists admit patients to the ICU
- No procedures are required
- Will attend to codes and rapid response to the floor but not to the ED
- The facility has Cardiology, GI, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology on Call.
