A trusted community-focused hospital in Rome, NY is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Nocturnist to join its expanding Hospitalist team. • Location: Rome, NY

• Schedule: Full-time Nocturnist

• Patient Census: 5 10 patients per night

• Environment: Collaborative, community-centered

• EMR: Paragon

• Eligible Applicants:

  • BC/BE Internal Medicine (BE within 1 year accepted)

  • New graduates welcome

• Employment Type: W2 only (no Locums, no 1099, no visa sponsorship)

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to assigned patients overnight

• Perform admissions from ED and direct admissions with complete H&P and diagnostic evaluation

• Manage acute conditions including open ICU patients (with intensivist support for complex cases)

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with nurses, specialists, case managers, and ancillary staff

• Participate in safe and timely discharge planning

• Maintain accurate, efficient documentation in Paragon EMR

• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and high-quality handoffs

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs

• Demonstrate exceptional communication, clinical judgment & professionalism

• Support residents, students, or APPs as needed

• Remain engaged in CME and professional development activities
