Medical Assistant/Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Entry Level)
Recruitment for this position will culminate in interviews in December 2025, with a start date in early January 2026.
Position Summary
We are hiring a full‑time bilingual (English/Spanish) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to work in our Bronx‑based family medicine practice.
Key Duties
Process blood draws, collect specimens, and process lab orders.
Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and record them accurately in medical records.
Complete referrals and discharge patients.
Assist providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
Assist provider with treatments.
Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and update demographic information.
Starting Compensation
Minimum: $23.00/hour; Maximum: $23.00/hour + $1,500 differential pay paid annually.
Work Environment, Location, and Schedule
On‑site in the Bronx, 40‑hour week Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
Bilingual Spanish/English required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Computer literacy.
Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support patients.
