Job Summary and Qualifications This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s & Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. Our patient‑focused environment welcomes families with genuine hospitality and includes the child’s primary physician in treatment decisions. The Resource Team RN delivers nursing care to patients in the PICU, Pediatric unit(s), NICU Level II, and NICU Level IV, serving as the primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care. The Resource Team RN oversees assistive personnel and maintains final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced nursing care in pediatric critical care environments.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
Supervise and mentor assistive personnel.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) through the AHA or ARC.
PALS within 12 weeks of hire, and NRP within 12 weeks of hire.
Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Colorado or an active multistate RN license.
Registered Nurse Diploma, graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Two years of pediatric or neonatal care experience required; critical care experience preferred.
