Overview
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Kindred Hospital – San Francisco Bay Area. Full‑time role with $58–$70 per hour base pay and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. You join Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, a network that prioritizes community well‑being.
Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments and establish individualized plans of care.
Provide speech and language therapy evaluation, modality, and treatment per hospital and department policies.
Implement physician orders, monitor treatment effectiveness, and modify interventions to achieve goals.
Plan and facilitate patient discharge, communicating with patients, families, and the care team.
Educate patients, families, and significant others on communication strategies.
Maintain a safe environment; assess risks and apply safety precautions.
Lead, organize, and educate coworkers, including interns, students, and volunteers.
Contribute to departmental and institutional quality improvement processes.
Assist with budgetary planning to support cost‑effective services.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology or related field, approved by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, or eligibility for ASHA Clinical Fellow program.
State licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
