Join Walmart Connect as a Demand Activation Director, Ad Partnership Management. In this senior role you will lead partnership and strategy that enable demand activation for our off‑site suite of solutions, driving revenue growth and ensuring client success in a rapidly expanding business.
Base pay range: $132,000 - $264,000 per year.
Position Summary Walmart Connect is dedicated to delivering measurable outcomes for suppliers, merchants, brand advertisers, ad‑tech partners, and agencies. Leveraging Walmart’s in‑store and online data, extensive reach, and flexible pricing models, we help businesses build brand awareness, engage consumers, and convert shoppers. The Director of Demand Activation will provide consultative business support across the off‑site business, drive partnership initiatives, influence product roadmap, and manage special projects that shape overall adoption.
Responsibilities
Own and drive offsite demand revenue and relationships.
Drive joint business planning and track progress against goals.
Collaborate with partners to develop and execute go‑to‑market plans through joint PR, marketing, co‑selling, developer relations and enablement materials to hit revenue goals.
Collect partner feedback to inform and prioritize product roadmap.
Coordinate across internal teams, prioritizing involvement and activation.
Provide consultative services to Walmart Connect sales and account management teams supporting partner‑solution implementation.
Track, analyze, and report key quantitative metrics daily and in quarterly business reviews.
Qualifications
10+ years of strategic business or partnership experience, with a proven track record of managing relationships and cross‑functional projects.
Experience delivering partnership initiatives in sales, product, business development, or partnership roles, with a strong emphasis on advertising.
Deep knowledge of the DSP and SSP landscape, especially top vendor expertise.
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, manage initiatives at scale, and deliver results.
Strong analytical skills for diagnosing problems, crafting solutions, and validating outcomes.
Experience building relationships with all levels of management, both internal and external, particularly sales or pre‑sales teams.
Interest or experience with complex, technical projects and product teams.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, digital media/advertising, or a related field and 5 years’ experience in campaign management, business development, or market development.
OR 7 years’ experience in campaign management, business development, or market development.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years in account management.
6+ years in channel/partner sales.
6+ years in digital media.
Master’s degree in business, marketing, communication, digital media/advertising, or a related field with 4+ years’ experience in campaign management, business development, or market development.
Experience with CRM platforms.
