Business Analysis Consultant

to support our Service Delivery team and bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. The role involves partnering with stakeholders to assess business needs, gather and analyze data and requirements, identify process improvements, design solutions, assist in implementation, and manage change initiatives.

Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Business Analysis Consultant at Intervoice. The consultant will collaborate with cross‑functional teams on multiple and complex project scopes and ensure successful delivery within time, budget, and desired quality standards. The role involves work remotely and from the San Juan office.

Role Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to gather business, technical, and functional requirements; use tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar for task tracking and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate discussions and workshops to identify improvement opportunities, applying Agile methodologies such as daily stand‑ups and sprint planning to maintain continuous collaboration. Manage stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Document, validate, and manage requirements throughout their lifecycle. Prioritize requirements based on business value using frameworks such as the MoSCoW prioritization technique or the Kano model, ensuring alignment with business constraints. Ensure traceability and change management for requirements, using tools like MS SharePoint for version control and documentation.

Evaluate the current state (as‑is) and define the desired future state (to‑be) of the business. Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities. Provide concrete examples or case studies where feasibility studies or gap analyses led to key business decisions. Conduct feasibility studies to support business decisions and provide strategic insights.

Assess implemented solutions to determine if they meet client needs. Utilize client feedback loops, KPIs, and regular performance assessments to gather post‑implementation data and identify areas for optimization and continuous improvement.

Translate high‑level business requirements into detailed specifications and design innovative solutions aligned with client goals, optimizing processes, and ensuring technical feasibility.

Act as the bridge between the client, the business area, and the project teams. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates using dashboards or project management tools (e.g., JIRA). Interact with internal and external organizations (e.g., vendors, state and federal government agencies, providers, and beneficiaries).

Perform data analysis to support business decision‑making. Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to measure business, process, and project performance, utilizing platforms like MS Power BI or Tableau to visualize results.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 4–8 years of demonstrated business analysis experience.

Knowledge and experience in continuous process improvement projects.

Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).

Desired Technical Skills

Exposure to private and public (state/federal) sectors such as IT, Healthcare, Utilities, and Construction.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, MS SharePoint, and MS Visio (advanced user skills preferred).

PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI‑PBA®).

IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™ (ECBA™).

IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP™).

ABPMP Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA®).

Lean Six Sigma Certification.

Terms & Conditions Duration:

12‑month contract with potential for renewal based on project needs and performance. Compensation:

Fixed monthly fee, payable upon invoice submission. Independent contractor status:

Must manage own tax and insurance obligations.
