Litigation Associate
for their growing Portland office.

What You’ll Do As an Associate, you will be trained in and exposed to all aspects of
asbestos litigation , from case investigation through trial. You will:
Manage discovery and conduct fact investigations
Draft and argue motions
Take and defend depositions
Review medical, scientific, and historical documents
Work closely with experts and co-counsel
Prepare cases for trial and serve as second/third chair
Associates will build expertise in
asbestos exposure pathways
and basic
mesothelioma-related medical terminology —no prior experience required.
What We’re Looking For Required:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Oregon Bar admission (or reciprocity eligibility)
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Commitment to plaintiff-side advocacy and client service
Willingness to travel
Preferred:
Background in PI, wrongful death, med‑mal, toxic torts, or related litigation
For new graduates: strong research/writing and a demonstrated drive to learn litigation
$110K–$170K DOE
