Save Job

This is a newly created role designed for a hands‑on recruiter ready to step into leadership, develop scalable infrastructure, and play a pivotal role in shaping the client’s people strategy.

Our client seeks a Talent Acquisition Manager to support the full life cycle recruiting process and help drive organizational growth. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent across a diverse and expanding portfolio. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and is motivated by the opportunity to build processes and systems from the ground up.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Talent Acquisition Manager will collaborate with senior corporate leaders on strategic initiatives while managing full‑cycle recruiting for high‑volume, operations‑critical positions such as community managers, leasing consultants, maintenance supervisors, and service technicians. In addition, this role will support recruitment for corporate functions (e.g., regional property managers) and occasionally for investment management positions.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with property leadership to understand staffing needs, prioritize requisitions, and ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates. Success in this role will require both tactical recruiting expertise and the ability to design scalable talent acquisition strategies that align with the company’s long‑term objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead the full recruitment cycle for assigned requisitions by partnering with hiring managers to define position requirements and expectations, while developing and deploying proactive recruitment strategies to fill roles effectively and efficiently.

Lead recruitment efforts across all professional‑level positions (and potentially leadership/management roles), ensuring a best‑in‑class candidate experience.

Perform candidate research and sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs, leveraging competitor analysis, digital hiring campaigns, and social media.

Execute high‑volume recruiting for property management, leasing, and maintenance positions while developing pipelines for recurring roles to reduce time‑to‑hire.

Partner with Regional Managers and Community Managers to forecast staffing needs and manage requisition flow across the portfolio.

Coordinate recruiting processes on behalf of the corporate recruiter, including job postings, scheduling, candidate travel, interview debriefs, and ad hoc talent reports.

Manage pre‑onboarding activities including reference checks, background checks, new hire communication, announcements, orientation packets, and IT coordination.

Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and community recruiting activities to support employer branding and build candidate pipelines.

Track and report key recruiting metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, source effectiveness, first‑year retention).

Ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintain accurate ATS records.

Assist with special projects as assigned.

Lead the selection and implementation of a new ATS to improve efficiency and visibility.

Design and roll out a structured interview workflow and scorecards to improve consistency and reduce bias in hiring decisions.

Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide leadership with real‑time visibility into recruiting performance.

Create scalable tools and standardized processes to streamline recruitment across the portfolio.

Coach and train hiring managers to enhance interview skills and ensure consistent candidate evaluation.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Recruiting and/or Talent Sourcing, with a proven track record in high‑volume recruiting environments.
