Law Clerk – Estate Planning
Do you love the idea of protecting people's assets along with protecting them in health crises? We are looking for a law clerk to support our estate planning practice. You will learn all aspects of trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and health‑care directives, and conduct legal research and case‑law memoranda on a variety of issues. Assist attorneys and paralegals with drafting deeds and other estate‑planning documents.
Responsibilities
Learn and prepare legal documents related to trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and health‑care directives.
Research and summarize case law, preparing memoranda on relevant legal issues.
Assist attorneys and paralegals in drafting and reviewing estate‑planning documents and related legal paperwork.
Qualifications
Current law school student or recent graduate.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical professional conduct.
Excellent written communication and research skills.
Compensation $18 - $21 hourly
