Garg Consulting Services, Inc. (Garg) is currently seeking a qualified Chief Inspector for ongoing and upcoming projects in Connecticut.

Pay Range $120,000 – $160,000 per year

Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise field inspection staff on day-to-day field operations for bridge, highway or rail projects, ensuring compliance with contract documents, specifications, and agency standards.
Coordinate and communicate with resident engineers, contractors, and client representatives to resolve construction issues.
Monitor progress, verify pay quantities, and track project schedule and budget impacts.
Review and submit daily work reports, photo documentation, and contractor submittals. Ensure adherence to safety standards and project quality assurance/quality control plans.
Qualifications
Minimum
12 years of construction inspection experience , preferably on CTDOT or other public transportation rail, highway or transportation projects over $20M.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE, CCM, EIT or
NICET IV
in Transportation/Highway Construction.
NETTCP, ACI, CWI, ATSSA Certifications preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout Connecticut
