Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role located in Concord, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Development Manager - Individual Giving role involves managing and growing the organization’s individual donor fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute donor cultivation strategies
Plan and conduct fundraising campaigns
Steward donor relationships
Oversee donor databases
Prepare reports for fundraising goals
Qualifications
Proven expertise in donor cultivation, individual giving strategies, and fundraising campaigns
Experience in donor relationship management, stewardship, and database management
Strong skills in planning, communication (both written and verbal), and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in fundraising software, CRM platforms, and analytics tools
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and achieve fundraising targets
Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, donor behavior, and philanthropic trends is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related studies
Prior experience in a similar role within a nonprofit organization is preferred
