Our Opportunity We are seeking a talented and motivated

Senior Manager

with consulting experience to join our

Health Sciences Practice

in one of our California offices. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to lead and provide scientific support on a wide range of projects addressing human health risks associated with environmental, occupational, consumer, and other exposures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant to partner with our senior staff and subject matter experts to grow their consulting practice.

You will be responsible for:

Applying expertise in health sciences to address and support complex human health challenges for clients

Building and cultivating strong client relationships

Driving consulting business growth by identifying new opportunities through project delivery, client engagement, and participation in professional development activities

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scientifically rigorous and impactful solutions to complex technical challenges

Performing literature reviews and analyses related to specific diseases, exposures, and health outcomes

Contributing to the development and authorship of complex technical reports and publications

Supporting project planning and execution

Participating in occasional travel for client meetings, site inspections, and professional development activities

Mentoring junior staff by providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment

Qualifications

Ph.D., M.P.H., or M.S. degree in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene, Epidemiology, Toxicology, or related scientific field

Minimum 8 years of experience consulting in the health sciences space

Proven ability to build and nurture meaningful client relationships to generate project work and drive project growth and expansion

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

A collaborative mindset and experience working in multidisciplinary teams

Project management experience, including coordinating tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of technical projects

Compensation Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponent\'s total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Manager level and above, total compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

The base salary range for this position is depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.

Salary Range USD $189,000.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.
