Who we want:

An OR Renovation Territory Manager develops and manages customer new build or renovation projects from the quoting, selling, planning, vendor management, and budgeting phases through customer sign‑off. Key metrics include Sales, Quality, Cost, Customer Satisfaction, and Schedule. They will partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive an exceptional customer experience while delivering upon key performance objectives.

This role requires regular field work in Chicago, IL.

What you will do Pre‑Sales

Lead quoting activity for all OR Renovation leads within the region.

Assist Sales Representatives in all pre‑sales activities that result in new sales of Stryker Communications OR Renovation portfolio.

Support the selling of Stryker Communications OR Renovation portfolio within approved indications for use.

Articulate the full value proposition of Stryker Communications OR Renovation portfolio and demonstrate subject‑matter expertise.

Build, manage, and maintain relationships across Stryker and its OR Renovation partners including Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers, Area Directors, Commercial Operations, Third‑Party Vendors, Marketing, Quality, and Regulatory.

Develop relationships with customers so that each aspect of the customer’s business is understood and there is continuous contact at various levels throughout their organization.

Deliver convincing presentations of Stryker solutions to all customer stakeholders including, but not limited to, C‑Suite, OR Directors, OR Support Staff, Facilities, Construction Management, Project Management, Biomed, Purchasing, and Equipment Planning Firms.

Post‑Sale

Manage all aspects of OR Renovation projects including quoting, selling, planning, vendor management, and budgeting through customer sign‑off.

Manage project transitions between functional groups and project phases to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Identify Renovation project scope and coordinate with Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance, 3rd‑Party Vendors, and Direct Customers to identify goals, schedule, budget, staffing requirements, and allocation of resources.

Develop renovation project plans and phases in coordination with Regional Project Managers, IT Project Managers, Program Managers, and 3rd‑Party Vendors, including timelines, risk identification and mitigation, resource requirements, logistical support, and construction documentation.

Influence stakeholders within the projects assigned, prioritize tasks within a given project, and provide process‑improvement recommendations to stakeholders and direct management.

Provide pre‑installation and construction requirement documentation to internal, external stakeholders, and 3rd‑Party Vendors.

Establish, modify, and monitor project and system workflow (Salesforce.com documentation).

Assign duties and monitor quality of work, coordinating with installation management to ensure project team members, including 3rd‑Party Vendors, conform to organizational and FDA policies and procedures.

Provide day‑to‑day guidance for project activities; actively work to promote and recognize project team performance.

Provide detailed and accurate weekly revenue‑forecasting updates to higher‑level management, outlining revenue recognition for a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

BS or equivalent (MS and/or MBA preferred) and 6+ years of work experience.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent analytical skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Preferred experience within the construction industry, sales, and/or manufacturing.

Physical & mental requirements

Must be able to generate detailed proposals, guidelines, priorities, and procedures.

Must be able to resolve complex issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.

Must be able to routinely make decisions which affect immediate operations and may have a division‑wide effect.

Must be able to communicate with others in large groups and telephonically.

Must be able to drive an automobile.

Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

$110,600 – $182,200

salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
