Director of Sports Medicine and Performance

Saint Michael’s College is seeking applications for a Director of Sports Medicine and Performance. This key position will lead the Sports Medicine and Performance staff and ensure strong, compliant communication across Athletics, team physicians, NCAA student‑athletes, outside providers, and the campus community. The Director plays a vital role in supporting student‑athlete health and wellness through efficient administrative management—such as inventory, insurance coordination, scheduling, reporting, education, staff supervision, and departmental advocacy. This position also provides clinical care consistent with National Athletic Trainers’ Association standards and oversees the development and annual rehearsal of Emergency Action Plans, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Certifications

NATA Certified Athletic Trainer

State of Vermont Licensed Athletic Trainer or eligible.

Certified in First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (instructor certified preferred).

Valid driver's license in good standing.

Experience in supervisory role preferred.

CSCS experience preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Proficiency with injury Tracking software
