This position’s work location is full‑time onsite on campus in Boston.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures; fosters communication and collaboration among the clinical, technical, and support staff; ensures that business and patient information is handled according to HIPAA guidelines.
Maintains patient, staff, and environmental safety; follows infection control and radiation safety procedures; ensures a clean, orderly workplace.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and institutional requirements; participates in QA/QI programs.
Communicates relevant information compassionately and professionally to patients; assists with operational duties such as monitoring patient flow using the scheduling and EMR systems.
Performs all technical procedures within CT, achieving high‑quality patient scans; performs technical protocol duties for departmental research; establishes intravenous access; administers contrast agents per protocol and regulatory requirements; maintains imaging systems and performs quality control; manages imaging datasets; maintains accurate records.
Participates in orientation, training, and best‑practice sharing for new technologist staff; serves as a resource for onboarding Program Administrators, Fellows, Residents, and other imaging staff.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Graduate of a hospital‑based and/or accredited imaging technology program (Radiography, Nuclear Medicine).
New graduates welcome; one to two years of hospital‑based experience preferred.
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License/Radiography/CT or Nuclear Medicine.
Current ARRT Radiography (RT‑R) or Nuclear Medicine (RT‑N) registration, or Nuclear Medicine Board (CNMT) certification.
Current ARRT CT (RT‑CT) registration, or to obtain within one year of hire.
Current BLS certification, or to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Strong customer service skills and professional interaction with peers, leadership, and external contacts.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Detail‑oriented and able to organize, prioritize, and follow through.
Able to work independently and/or in a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Effective time management and workload prioritization.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Patient Contact
Direct patient contact.
DYNAMIC WORK LOCATION and SCHEDULE ASSIGNMENT
Fully on‑site.
Routine on‑call assignment (weekend backup).
Includes travel to other imaging locations (e.g., Longwood, Chestnut Hill).
Contingency staffing coverage as needed.
Special Working Conditions This role includes potential exposure to radiation, chemicals, and other hazards inherent in a radiology operation.
Activity Physical Demands Ability to respond to staff and patient needs; physically position patients and manipulate imaging equipment; assist patients requiring aid (stretcher transfers, wheelchair transport, positioning, etc.).
Pay Transparency Statement $52.45/hr – $62.31/hr – salaries based on experience, skill level, and internal equity. Visa requirements and union agreements may apply. For details, please refer to our Collective Bargaining Agreement.
