What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Design and implement simulation models for automated systems, including material handling and robotics
Conduct “what‑if” analyses to evaluate design options and validate system performance against KPIs
Interface simulation models with control systems and support integration with SCADA, MES, or ERP environments
Present simulation results and recommendations to customers and stakeholders
Mentor engineers and contribute to the company’s simulation and virtual commissioning strategy
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
3+ years of experience in simulation modeling or digital twin environments
4+ years of experience in the material handling industry
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, C#, Java, or MATLAB
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze AutoCAD drawings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Geek+ or other Robotics Software solutions
Basic working knowledge of control systems related to material handling systems
Familiarity with WMS/WES/WCS integration and warehouse design software
Exposure to virtual commissioning and real‑time emulation
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
