Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases: Ensure coverage of functional, performance, and regression testing aligned with product requirements and release cycles.
Introduce and scale automation: Identify opportunities and implement automation tools and frameworks to reduce manual effort and accelerate release confidence.
Cultivate a quality-first mindset: Advocate for best practices in software testing, and educate developers and cross‑functional teams on QA methodologies and tools.
Establish QA infrastructure and frameworks: Select and implement appropriate test management and defect tracking tools, and ensure integrations with CI/CD workflows.
Collaborate cross‑functionally: Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to align on test coverage, release readiness, and user experience standards.
Recruit and mentor QA team members: Lay the foundation for a growing QA function and provide technical guidance, leadership, and coaching to future team members.
Evaluate quality risks and release health: Develop critical testing metrics, communicate release readiness, and provide transparent insight into quality trends and risks.
