Join Loudoun United Football Club as a VA Revolution Youth Phase Manager. This role leads a team of youth travel coaches and manages week‑to‑week training and match operations, ensuring a consistent high‑quality experience across the teams in your age group.

Key Responsibilities Head Coach, Youth Travel Soccer

Lead weekly training and game‑day coaching of 2‑3 youth teams within your gender/age phase.

Focus on athletes’ technical development through consistent delivery of club‑provided training sessions.

Maximize athlete performance by overseeing targeted physical‑conditioning programs.

Observe guidelines and protocols during practice and games to help players avoid injuries.

Establish and maintain a culture of sportsmanship, cooperation, and responsibility among athletes and coaching staff.

Communicate effectively with assistant coaches, athletes, and parents.

Player Recruiting, Operations & Customer Service

Oversee player identification, registration, and roster quality for your teams.

Manage all logistics: field booking, kickoff times, game schedules, equipment, and supplies.

Serve as the primary point of contact for coaches, parents, and player inquiries, providing excellent service.

Staffing & Development

Recruit, hire, train, and manage travel coaches.

Meet regularly with coaches to review performance, player movement, and club initiatives; conduct evaluations and manage absences.

Develop knowledge of all Phase players, support head coaches in player reviews, and meet with the technical team.

Collaborate with the Director to discuss team/player dynamics.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5‑7 years coaching in a competitive youth soccer environment; experience with a professional or semi‑professional organization is highly desirable.

Minimum USSF or UEFA C license; USSF or UEFA B is desirable.

Strong administrative skills, comfortable with complex scheduling.

Proficient with registration software (e.g., PlayMetrics), team‑management tools (e.g., GotSport, League Apps), and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred

Experience working directly with youth leagues such as Girls Academy, MLS Next, National Academy League, or National Capital Soccer League.
