Associate Program Director
Volunteers of America‑Greater New York (VOA‑Greater New York) is an anti‑poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We operate over 60 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Westchester County, providing emergency, transitional, and permanent housing, and services to families experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV/AIDS, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, adults with behavioral health or substance use needs, and a special‑education preschool program.
We are in search of a new Associate Program Director to manage case management and specialized support service delivery for clients, establish community linkages, and assume the Program Director’s responsibilities in their absence.
Location Bronx, NY 10459
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field.
Five years of experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
Principal Responsibilities
Manage and supervise program staff.
Oversee clinical and recreational services.
Develop program protocols and services.
Manage purchasing, property control, and facilities.
Serve as funding/regulatory agency liaison and maintain community contacts.
Prepare budgets and reports.
