Description This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together we provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

AWS is seeking an experienced Business Developer to establish AWS as the market leader for AI‑driven Decision Intelligence capabilities, beginning with Supply Chain and expanding into adjacent domains. This strategic initiative represents one of AWS’s key investments in applied AI for enterprise transformation. The Business Developer must combine enterprise sales experience with a strong understanding of AI/ML applications in business contexts.

The ideal candidate should be capable of engaging at the C‑suite level to drive strategic transformation initiatives while also collaborating with technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. You will lead strategic customer advisory relationships, develop and execute account strategies for Fortune 500 companies, and help shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback. This role requires excellence in executive communication, a deep understanding of enterprise decision‑making processes, and proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. Internally you will be the voice of the customer, working directly with AWS product teams, while also leading the creation of thought leadership content that defines how AWS communicates its technology to customers. Your influence will extend to company‑wide impact, driving transformative solutions at scale.

Key Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic go-to-market approaches, targeting specific domains and customer segments

Engage with executive leadership to understand complex business challenges and propose innovative cloud solutions

Serve as the primary business specialist for customer services within your assigned territory

Craft compelling value propositions that directly address customer needs and demonstrate AWS’s unique capabilities

Collaborate with global system integrators to deliver transformative customer projects

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience

Bachelor’s degree

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience meeting revenue targets and quotas

10+ years of technology sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and implementing long‑term transformational account strategies in a customer‑facing role or equivalent

Experience in building profitable partner ecosystems

Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team products

Experience designing and launching new products from the ground up

Experience selling AI/ML or emerging technology solutions

Background in supply chain, operations, or enterprise planning software

Multi‑lingual capabilities, particularly Spanish or Portuguese

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
