Job Overview The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team at LPL Financial seeks an accomplished and dynamic professional to manage cross-functional negotiations across various categories. Responsibilities

Negotiates medium to high financial and risk contracts to drive value across Business, Product and Technology roadmaps. Contracts include, but are not limited to: MSAs, SaaS Agreements, EULAs, SOWs

Collaborates with Third Party Risk, FP&A and Legal to conduct contract analysis, establish clear metrics of success and reduce third party risk.

Partners to further establish LPL’s evolving location strategy and align third party contracts, vendor consolidation and contract renegotiations with this strategy.

Mentors and develops sourcing talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Develops and implements category and sourcing strategies independent of the Sourcing category by collaborating with partners and incorporating a thoughtful understanding of the technical requirements, departmental strategies and market trends.

Leads the RFx process through to completion, including requirements gathering, identifying potential respondents, scoring, weighting, negotiation and contracting.

Ensures deep partnerships with strategic partners, reviewing financial trends and aligning vendors to LPL’s strategic vision.

Influences and maintains strong internal relationships from the Executive level through to day-to-day operational functions.

Aligns LPL in growth projections required for future success.

What does your success look like in the first 90 days? Step in as an integral contributor in the Vendor landscape, meet with key executives across various Business, Product and Technology units to understand impact, importance and dependencies for LPL. Partner with the Business, Sourcing and Third-Party Risk to gain an understanding of ongoing operational dependencies. Gain an understanding of the company’s goals and establish the draft strategy aligning LPL’s most strategic Vendors.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience in Sourcing, preferably working in/setting up Global Capability Centers in India

5+ years as a leader developing, cultivating, and leading strong cross functional relationships driving maturity of the function

Previous experience in contracting with Indian based entities

Strong process leader who is detail oriented with demonstrated expertise on contract agreements and risk management

Demonstrated experience in developing and cultivating a productive working rapport with Senior Executives

Ability to drive data driven discussions and create a strategy/plan based on the data to drive results

Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to create/present executive presentations and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team

Flexibility and organizational change management experience

The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority

Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks within the company

Expert consensus-builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to complex business challenges

Negotiation experience with Financial Services / Wealth Management vendors

Pay Range $99,188-$165,313/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
