Role Overview The Associate in the BioLegend Quality Control group will test antibodies and proteins through flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, western blotting, ELISA, multiplex immunoassays, and functional bioassays. This role requires performing assays by SOPs and ISO requirements, culturing mammalian cell lines, isolating primary cells, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
Essential Functions • Perform testing of reagents in a timely manner.
• Perform aseptic cell culture.
• Isolate primary cells and tissues.
• Perform data analysis and document results.
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory.
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 6 months+ experience with flow cytometry, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, bioassays, ELISA, and IHC/ICC is a big plus.
• 1+ year working experience in a laboratory environment.
Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• Experience in sterile cell culture technique.
• Familiarity with basic lab equipment and knowledge of lab safety protocols.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to multi‑task.
• Excellent documentation skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands Laboratory work; occasional data entry on a computer and exposure to warehouse environment. Tasks involve the use of hands and fingers, standing, talking, and hearing.
Compensation The base salary range for this full‑time position is $26–$29 per hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity, location, and relevant experience or training.
