Position Objectives
To provide customers with the best selection, exceptional service and well‑organized stores.
Accountable for meeting store sales and income budget expectations while managing expenses to maximize profitability.
Create a positive and mentoring environment for Beneficiaries (ARC rehabilitation program participants) through collaboration and partnership with program staff.
Implement positive and effective Work Therapy Assignments (WTA) and keep Beneficiaries on the right track.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one‑year previous retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Takes an active role and partners with the Store Manager in daily store operations (opening/closing, point of sale, inventory management, etc.).
Assumes responsibility for all day‑to‑day store operations (including personnel and cash handling) in the absence of the Store and/or Assistant Manager.
Assists Store Manager to monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive sales and increase profitability.
Schedules Store Employees, coordinates daily team meetings, and provides coaching, training, and development.
Processes paperwork per Review Standards (Time and Attendance compliance).
Ensures high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction and develops strategies to improve service.
Supports Back Room Processing (BRP) to meet daily processing goals.
Supervises and reports on program Beneficiaries for Work Therapy Assignments.
Protects store currency, inventory, and property; manages cash deposits and secures building during non‑operating hours.
Maintains safety measures and assists in mandatory weekly store meetings.
May transfer or be relocated to other stores based on business needs.
Completes all tasks assigned by District Sales Manager, Command Retail Directors and Command Administration.
