as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) in Oncology. In this field-based role, you will build relationships with and demonstrate the clinical outcomes and benefits of our products to healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and health systems.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary clinical/scientific resource to healthcare providers, ensuring they are informed about disease state and Eisai’s products.

Serve as a conduit for clinical, scientific and medical information between key opinion leaders (KOLs) and Eisai’s Medical Affairs and development groups.

Establish, foster, and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in the therapeutic areas of interest.

Present clinical, scientific, and economic data on Eisai’s products and relevant therapeutic areas to decision-makers.

Support and lead attendance at professional congresses, coordinating all MSL/Sr. MSL activities.

Identify and report key scientific, clinical, and research insights from KOLs to Medical Affairs.

Develop and present plans to support Medical Affairs strategic direction for the assigned territory.

Maintain thorough knowledge of disease state, study methodology, clinical information, and product data.

Teach, coach, and mentor new or less experienced MSLs.

Facilitate review and follow‑up of Investigator‑Initiated Studies and assist with Eisai‑sponsored trials.

Lead field medical efforts in support of collaboration with professional organizations, societies, and advocacy groups.

Educational Requirements

Advanced, terminal Doctorate-level (D-level) degree in medical or health sciences (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD).

Experience

0–3 years for MSL: experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, clinical pharmacy or research, preferably as an MSL.

Minimum 3 years for Sr. MSL: experience in Oncology/Hematology.

Strong scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge.

Clinical trial development and drug launch experience preferred.

Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations and OIG guidelines required.

Knowledge and experience within Eisai’s desired therapeutic area(s); strong relationships with key opinion leaders.

Domestic and international travel as needed for clinical trial sites, conferences, offices, and hotels.

Salary

MSL: $144,300 - $189,400 USD annually.

Sr. MSL: $160,100 - $210,100 USD annually.
