Senior Contracts Manager
Description Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager for its Decision Advantaged Solution Business Area contracts team within the National Security Sector. The role supports the research, development, and production of cutting‑edge technology to protect our warfighters and the country. The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and manage all contract activities for a diverse portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee and evaluate major proposals and contracts, recommending and implementing solutions to achieve functional objectives.
Serve as a critical asset in key negotiations and resolve complex contractual/customer issues as they arise.
Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with Leidos policies.
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Lead the review and analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify and mitigate contract risks.
Review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Non‑Disclosure Agreements, License Agreements, and OCI Mitigation Plans.
Collaborate with programs, contracts, procurement, finance, project control, legal, and export control teams and proactively engage government contracting counterparts to respond to customer requirements.
Work independently while being a consummate team player.
Basic Qualifications
BA degree + 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree + 10+ years of relevant experience.
In‑depth knowledge of all contract types (T&M, FFP, Cost Plus).
Working knowledge of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and/or the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency (NGA) or other intelligence agencies is a plus.
Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve problems and make sound decisions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with Teaming Agreements, Non‑Disclosure Agreements, and related legal instruments.
Strong background in Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess (or be eligible to obtain) a Final TS/SCI clearance.
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00 (general guideline)
