What You Will Do We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven professional to join our team as an MRO Network Performance and Growth Leader. This role combines operational excellence leadership with strategic growth initiatives to ensure the success of our global MRO network. Key responsibilities include conducting annual network capacity assessments, driving improvements across Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) shops, engaging directly with customers such as operators and airframers, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to optimize network performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational excellence: Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the MRO network to enhance operational performance, efficiency, and quality. Establish and implement best practices to align with business goals and customer expectations.

Annual network capacity assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the MRO network’s capacity to meet current and future market demands. Develop data‑driven strategies to address capacity constraints and support long‑term growth objectives.

Customer engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with airframers, and other key stakeholders. Act as the primary interface to understand customer needs and represent the MRO network in engagements.

Collaboration with DATs: Partner with Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) shops to identify opportunities for process improvements, resource optimization, and seamless integration across the network. Ensure alignment with broader operational goals.

Performance Optimization – Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the health of the MRO network. Drive initiatives to improve turnaround times, reduce costs, and meet or exceed customer satisfaction metrics.

Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, materials solutions, vendor repair value streams, and other internal teams to deliver integrated solutions that address overall turnaround time performance.

Travel expected: up to 25% domestically and internationally

Qualifications You Must Have

Advanced Degree and 10+ years of experience in Engineering, Operations, Value Stream, Program/Project Management, or Operational Excellence / Process Improvement; OR Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience.

6+ years of experience within Aerospace or Aftermarket industry, ideally within a part repair station or MRO DAT engine center.

Qualifications We Prefer

Advanced degree in STEM field, Project Management, or Operations.

Experience with disassembly, assembly and test (DAT) process and quality standards, ideally within a turbofan engine MRO DAT environment.

Strong knowledge of Aftermarket overhaul and repair industry (MRO), shop operations, capacity planning, and customer engagement strategies.

Demonstrated success in operational excellence (OpEx), Six Sigma, Lean, ACE, CORE, process improvement, or strategic planning.

Project management skills or certification (PMP), with experience managing large‑scale cross‑functional projects.

Proven ability to analyze complex data and drive actionable insights to optimize performance.

Familiarity with airline engine maintenance costs and contract financial details.

Proficiency in leveraging data, KPIs, and metrics to drive outcomes.

Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with ability to establish credibility and trust among business partners and senior leadership.

Strategic thinker with sound business judgment and innovative mindset.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
