Akkodis is seeking a
Senior Project Manager/Technology
for a Contract job with a client in
Austin TX or Southlake TX (Hybrid 3 days) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background with Financial Background.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience.
Senior Project Manager/Technology job responsibilities include:
8+ years of project management experience, managing multiple large, complex, and cross functional projects, with emphasis on product development, systems, and technical environments
8+ years of experience with project management tools and artifacts, including MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, project budgets, change requests, status reports, etc.
Experience managing a concurrent portfolio of work greater than $3M including understanding of cross-functional dependencies and how they impact project execution
5+ years of experience preparing/presenting information for and engaging with officer-level audiences with clarity and precision both written and verbally
5+ years of demonstrated ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace
5+ years of proven experience with and understanding of various software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
Proven ability to quickly build relationships, earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively, and succeed within a highly collaborative culture
Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity
Desired Qualifications:
Expert understanding of various software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum, SAFe
Background/experience in financial services industry, preferably Advisor Services
PMP or PMI-ACP certification
Strong attention to detail
Experience working with Release Train Engineers
