Engineering Product Manager – Threat Intel
Join Cisco as an Engineering Product Manager specializing in Threat Intelligence for Security. You will lead the integration of threat intelligence into our security product offerings, driving innovative solutions that improve customers' ability to detect, investigate, and respond to threats effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for integrating threat intelligence into Splunk's security products, prioritizing foundational workflows where it plays a critical role in detection, investigation, and response use cases.
Engage with customers to understand security operations workflows, gather insights, and identify opportunities for threat intelligence to address challenges.
Conduct regular 1:1 sessions with customers to validate roadmap priorities and address adoption blockers.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive execution of the product roadmap.
Map end-to-end workflows across all security product teams, working with multiple engineering teams to deliver solutions that solve customer problems.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and maintain leadership in SIEM security solutions.
Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of threat intelligence features, focusing on adoption, configuration success, and workflow outcomes.
Represent Splunk at industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase the power of Splunk Security.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in security operations with a deep understanding of threat detection, incident response, and SIEM systems; hands‑on experience solving real‑world problems with SOC teams.
Experience integrating threat intelligence into detection, enrichment, correlation, and response workflows; familiarity with feeds, enrichment providers, STIX/TAXII, and model‑based prioritization.
Strong product management background—ability to define and deliver roadmaps across cross‑functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including customers, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Ability to translate technical functionality into compelling business value for field teams and customer executives.
AI and Machine Learning Knowledge Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly as they apply to cybersecurity use cases.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of total experience in product management or technical product management roles.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MBA a plus).
