Event Manager
to support our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for Event professionals who thrive in fast‑paced, ever‑changing environments and enjoy bringing high‑quality food to life at a variety of venues across the Greater Boston area. Position Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of off‑site catering events and ensuring exceptional guest and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Execute all event‑related tasks to the highest standard of service and professionalism. Communicate clearly and effectively with Account Executives, clients, and guests. Anticipate and respond to last‑minute changes or challenges with flexibility and composure. Support event setup and breakdown, including furniture placement and restoration. Complete all pre‑event assignments and service steps as outlined in the Captain’s Manual before call time. Record accurate arrival and departure times for all event staff. Follow all established booking and event documentation procedures. Manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Delegate tasks appropriately to ensure smooth event flow and execution. Maintain a clear understanding of the event’s overall vision and objectives. Skills and Qualifications
Professional appearance and grooming, adhering to company standards. Excellent organizational and detail‑oriented skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Customer‑focused mindset with a cheerful and helpful demeanor. Commitment to maintaining CBA Hospitality and food safety standards. Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in catering, events, or hospitality. Reliable transportation required; must be able to drive to and from off‑site event locations. Access to email and the internet required; smartphone preferred for schedule updates and communication. Employment Type
Full‑time Base Pay
