Consulting Associate, Air Quality
in
Houston, TX and Midland, TX , you’ll help clients navigate complex regulations, reduce emissions, and implement solutions that make a difference. Your work will directly contribute to cleaner air and a healthier planet.
What Your Impact Is You’ll be part of a collaborative team tackling technical projects for major players in oil & gas, power, technology, and chemical industries. From preparing air permits to supporting greenhouse gas inventories, your contributions will help clients meet compliance goals and advance sustainability initiatives.
What You'll Bring Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in environmental permitting and compliance.
Familiarity with air emissions and reporting processes.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred:
Experience with air quality construction permits and Title V permitting.
Knowledge of PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT regulations.
Exposure to climate change projects such as greenhouse gas inventories.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct air quality analyses and evaluate regulatory compliance.
Prepare accurate air quality permits (Title V, PSD, NSR) and liaise with regulators.
Develop emission inventories and quantify pollutant impacts.
Support climate change initiatives, including greenhouse gas reporting.
Deliver clear recommendations and reports on emissions testing and control strategies.
Manage tasks within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality standards.
Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
