As a seasoned Digital Forensics Cybersecurity Advisor, you will provide high‑quality support and strategic assessment of new technologies for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA‑H).

You will help conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government‑funded research and development (R&D) programs to accelerate better health outcomes.

Your work will involve assessing the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with current program management, and facilitating the commercialization of successfully developed technologies.

What You’ll Work On

Work holistically across ARPA‑H to support digital forensics and investigate cybersecurity incidents.

Investigate physical and virtual assets to support security and integrity across Windows, macOS, and iOS operating systems.

Conduct investigations using Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and common digital forensics tools.

Work within Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to assess risk posture of technical projects.

Identify and evaluate risks associated with ongoing technical projects and programs and propose solutions to mitigate those risks.

Build strong relationships and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to varied audiences.

You Have

5+ years of experience managing evidence collection, preservation, and chain of custody.

5+ years of experience in developing standard operating procedures and playbooks for conducting digital forensic investigations.

Experience performing forensic imaging and analysis of physical and virtual devices.

Experience coordinating with legal, privacy, and incident response teams during an investigation.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Bachelor’s degree.

Nice If You Have

7+ years of experience managing evidence collection, preservation, and chain of custody.

7+ years of experience in developing standard operating procedures and playbooks for digital forensic investigations.

Experience with U.S. government or R&D health organizations.

Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Ability to manage multiple short and long‑term projects effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Master’s degree.

Compensation Salary range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model
