Responsibilities
Strong ability to multitask and collaborate with others
Demonstrate strong project‑management skills
Advanced knowledge of service parts and procedures
Advanced bending and application of all standard aluminum applications (Flat wraps, BM, etc.)
Advanced finish carpentry (step trim and wide trim)
Ability to install product types offered by RbA (L‑Flange, BM, Insert, New Construction – DB, GL, CS, PW, Patio Door)
Advanced assessment and problem‑solving ability
Assess jobsite for hazards prior to commencement of work; address hazards as needed
Collaborate with other installers to maximize efficiencies, proper tear‑outs, and installation techniques
Build and sustain positive homeowner relations
Adhere to safety techniques, procedures, and Renewal safety programs
Provide consistent, flawless first‑time window and door installation
Maintain company vehicle in accordance with Fleet Policy
Demonstrate responsible attendance and punctuality
Provide direction, training, coaching, and mentoring of installers to advance their skill sets
General warehouse support and minor service‑call assistance as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High‑School Diploma or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license with ability to pass a fleet check
Basic construction techniques and knowledge of building materials and terminology
State contractor’s license preferred
Broad knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
Skills and Competencies
Confident handling of confrontation/conflict with a tactful, diplomatic approach
Responsible attendance and punctuality
Organizational skills for managing work schedules, job priorities, and stock levels
Basic math skills
Initiative, independence, flexibility, and willingness to work variable schedules; ability to lift up to 83 lbs
Advanced communication, conflict‑resolution, and teaching/training skills
Advanced finish carpentry and teaching/training skills
Advanced framing and construction knowledge and teaching/training skills
Advanced knowledge of service parts, procedures, and installation; teaching/training skills
Advanced listening, empathy, and conflict‑resolution skills; teaching/training skills
Advanced math and troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills; teaching/training skills
Advanced understanding of building codes and water management; teaching/training skills
Salary Information Pay ranges from $25.20 to $37.80 per hour, plus incentives. Compensation depends on experience, education, location, and certifications.
