HSE Supervisor - (Construction Projects) We are seeking an experienced

Health, Safety, and Environmental Supervisor

to join our team on‑site in

Cambridge, MA . In this role, you will provide dedicated support for construction and capital projects within a pharmaceutical environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while encouraging a culture of safety across all operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day HSE activities across construction and capital project sites.

Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to maintain a safe work environment.

Provide mentorship and training to contractors and project teams on safety protocols and standard processes.

What You’ll Do

Assist in managing programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs.

Ensure construction projects follow health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits.

Deliver health and safety training programs, including new hire safety orientation.

Maintain comprehensive documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records.

Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other interested parties to address potential risk management and safety issues.

Supervise adherence to OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other relevant safety regulations and standards.

Perform site risk assessments, safety audits, and safety meetings to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.

Support the process for supervising injury, illness, and incident‑related performance.

Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the subject matter expert.

Oversee plans, playbooks, and procedures making sure playbooks are current, complete, and effectively implemented.

Find opportunities to reduce costs while improving the quality of services. Respond to customer member concerns.

Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members.

Resolve sophisticated problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.

Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.

What You’ll Need

High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of job‑related experience.

Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

In‑depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.

Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Excellent organizational skills with a master‑level inquisitive mentality.

Benefits and Compensation CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the HSE Supervisor position is $105,000 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Supervisor position is $120,000 annually. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
