The HRIS Director is responsible for leading the strategy, optimization, and ongoing management of the company’s Human Resource Information Systems, with a primary focus on UKG. This role oversees UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management (WFM), ensuring system integrity, process efficiency, and data‑driven decision‑making. The Director will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance HR technology capabilities and support organizational objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS Strategy & System Management

Lead the optimization and ongoing management of UKG Pro and UKG WFM platforms. Ensure HRIS aligns with business needs and integrates effectively with other enterprise systems. Develop, implement, and modify system requirements to support HR and business initiatives. Drive automation of HR processes and enhance system functionality. Data Management & Reporting

Oversee maintenance of HR data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across all HR systems. Develop and manage custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and executive leadership decision‑making. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies. Process Improvement & Optimization

Analyze and optimize HR workflows to improve efficiency and employee experience. Lead initiatives to enhance user adoption, system usability, and self‑service functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline HR processes and reporting. Implementation & Vendor Management

Manage relationships with UKG and other HRIS vendors, consultants, and IT partners. Oversee system implementations, updates, and enhancements. Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors to ensure optimal support and value. Compliance & Security

Ensure HRIS aligns with legal, compliance, and security standards, including GDPR and other data protection regulations. Partner with IT and HR leadership to establish and maintain system security protocols. Monitor and audit system usage to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance. Team Leadership & Support

Manage and develop HRIS and Payroll team members, including administrators and analysts. Provide training and guidance to HR and business users on system capabilities and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HRIS and Payroll function. Other Responsibilities

Collaborate with Benefits team. Support change management efforts related to system transitions and enhancements. Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs. Qualifications

Required

Strong technical and functional knowledge of UKG Pro and UKG WFM platforms. Experience managing HR system transitions. Advanced proficiency in HR data reporting, analytics, and dashboard creation. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive HR data. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders. Experience with enterprise HR integrations and APIs. Experience with HR compliance and security best practices. Education and Experience

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS leadership roles. Preferred

Experience leading HRIS teams in a multi‑location environment. Work Environment/Physical Demands

This position requires working for long periods of time at a computer and attending virtual meetings. Compensation and Benefits

The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
