Logistics Exercise Planner

Amentum . This position is located at the Makalapa Complex, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Amentum is looking for a highly qualified Logistics Exercise Planner to support the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters. The role involves logistics management and exercise planning to ensure operational requirements are met. Responsibilities
Provide oversight of exercise planning and implementation of solutions supporting exercise objectives. Provide oversight of logistics, scheduling, and administrative support for PACFLT N4 initiatives. Collect and communicate operational logistics requirements and capability shortfalls. Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Support procurement, transportation, and distribution of goods and services to the Pacific Fleet. Identify logistical challenges and develop contingency plans. Facilitate logistics support with Indo‑Pacific command units and external partners. Deliver briefings to COMPACFLT N4 staff, USINDOPACOM, and Service Component Staffs. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. At least 10 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense, including at least 5 years of logistics work. At least 5 years in military plans. At least 3 years in a senior military staff office (Service HQ, Combatant Command, OSD, JS). Knowledge of the Indo‑Asia‑Pacific region. Experience at operational and/or strategic levels of DoD planning. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient at authoring analytical and/or policy documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Active Top‑Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; US citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience in DoD logistics. Experience with Naval plans and operations. Proficiency with MS Teams, SharePoint, and shared drive management. Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Advanced joint planning skills and theater knowledge. Detailed knowledge of USINDOPACOM policy, TCP/TCO, GCPs, CT EXORD, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans. Understanding of the Military Decision‑Making Process (MDMP). Effective written and verbal communication for executive summaries to flag and general officers and Senior Executive Service officials. Compensation & Benefits
