About the Job A Communications Architect will be responsible for creating and leading a team of cross‑disciplined engineers to develop, design, prototype, build, and eventually field resilient communications products. An ideal candidate is someone who has 10+ years of military communications waveform experience, wireless systems knowledge, digital signal processing, systems engineering, product development, and leadership skills.
What You’ll Do
Design resilient communication systems.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software and hardware engineers to develop software‑defined radios.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with DSP implementation for embedded devices and/or software‑defined radios.
Waveform design for resilient communications.
Extensive experience with embedded devices, including FPGA, GPU, ARM, and software‑defined radios.
Familiar with wireless communication standards both commercial and DOD (Bluetooth, 3G/4G/5G, Wi‑Fi, SINCGARS, MUOS, etc.).
Excellent at balancing multiple projects at any given time.
Project management and leadership experience.
Enthusiastic about both working with a team and executing work.
25% travel required.
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret with SCI eligibility (Top Secret/SCI).
US Salary Range $166,000—$220,000 USD
