Primary Job Responsibilities

Conduct a full range of programming tasks including program design, development, debugging, estimating, unit testing, and documentation for a variety of applications, systems, databases, or websites.

Serve as a technical subject matter expert through all phases of system analysis and development.

Collaborate with team leadership to design and develop well-integrated, enterprise-level solutions that meet present and future business needs.

Determine testing methodology and manage the development and execution of comprehensive test plans including identifying key areas of application requiring stress or load testing.

Review application modules and ensure compliance with application architecture standards.

Implement application observability, monitoring, and pre‑emptive alerting.

Provide ongoing maintenance of applications, systems, databases, or websites.

Provide third-level application support including on-call (after hours, weekends, holidays) for priority issues.

Troubleshoot highly complex production issues, serving as escalation point. Evaluate and follow through on issues and problems until resolved.

Lead the selection and evaluation of new vendor software solutions and packages.

Lead knowledge sharing and shared understanding amongst the development team.

Follow secure coding standards and address security scan alerts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Develop and integrate advanced Next.js frontends with XM Cloud using Sitecore JSS, GraphQL, and TypeScript.

Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications, including Vercel deployments and environment configurations for global performance.

Implement modern rendering strategies (SSG, SSR, ISR) to maximize performance and achieve high Google PageSpeed scores.

Design and optimize personalization and real‑time data flows leveraging Sitecore CDP/Personalize and Sitecore Search.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Career Level (P3) Works to achieve day‑to‑day objectives with significant impact on operational results within area of work. Works independently under limited supervision. May be responsible for entire projects or processes within area. Typically responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower‑level professionals.

Leadership & Talent Management May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within functional area. May manage projects at this level, requiring responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others' work product.

Knowledge & Experience

Requires broad knowledge of area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of program or project management.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 4-6 years of prior relevant experience.

Sitecore: 5+ years of Sitecore development, with 2-3 years of hands‑on, production experience with Sitecore XM Cloud (not legacy XM/XP).

Headless/Frontend: Deep expertise in Next.js (14/15+), React.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

Deployment & DevOps: Proven experience with Vercel deployments, performance optimization, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Core Skills: Expert knowledge of the Sitecore JSS framework, modern web‑based system architecture, and cloud‑native principles.
