We are seeking a skilled
CNC Programmer Machinist
to join our team. In this hands‑on role, you will program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components for the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CNC machining and programming, demonstrates high attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering quality work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate
2- and 3-axis CNC machines
to produce aerospace components to specification
Perform
pre‑operational inspections
and review blueprints, manuals, and dispatch specs to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences
Determine and execute
setup and machining operations
for new or complex parts
Conduct
complex setups independently , including tooling and offset adjustments
Operate CNC lathes and mills with precision to meet
engineering drawings and customer standards
Perform
in‑process and final inspections
to ensure part quality and accuracy
Troubleshoot
programming and machine issues to improve performance and efficiency
Maintain a
safe, clean, and organized workspace , following all company safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years
of CNC Programmer or CNC Machinist experience
High school diploma or GED
required; technical/trade school certification preferred
Hands‑on experience with
Okuma, Mori Seiki, Hitachi Seiki, Mazak machines, and Mazatrol, Okuma, and Fanuc controls
Proficiency with
blueprint reading and precision inspection tools
Experience operating
CNC lathes and mills
Proficiency in
Mastercam
or similar CAM software
Hands‑on experience machining
stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium
Strong
attention to detail ,
problem‑solving , and
analytical
skills
Ability to work
independently
and as part of a
collaborative team
**Please note that the role is open to negotiate higher than $30 /hr, depending on experience**
