Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced
APM Engineer
with deep expertise in building and optimizing observability solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will excel in configuring monitoring tools, developing automation scripts, and driving end-to-end performance visibility for large-scale distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities Application Performance Monitoring (APM) & Observability
Configure, implement, and optimize
Dynatrace ,
Zabbix ,
PagerDuty , and
Alertbot
for full-stack application and infrastructure monitoring.
Utilize
Dynatrace DQL ,
APIs ,
custom extensions , and
AI/OPS
features to enhance observability and automated root-cause detection.
Build dashboards, alerts, synthetic tests, and custom event processing rules.
Cloud & Infrastructure Monitoring
Enable monitoring across
AWS ,
ECS , and
on-prem servers .
Monitor and analyze AWS services using
CloudWatch , and integrate metrics and events with
Dynatrace .
Ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage for microservices, containers, load balancers, databases, and distributed systems.
DevOps & Automation
Create and manage
PBIs (Product Backlog Items)
in
Azure DevOps
for monitoring improvements, incidents, and automation tasks.
Develop
automation and integration scripts
using
Shell ,
PowerShell
and
YAML .
Work with CI/CD and infrastructure automation processes to embed observability standards.
Incident Management & Performance Optimization
Configure alerting workflows and escalations using
PagerDuty .
Analyze performance trends, bottlenecks, and resource usage to provide actionable recommendations.
Support production issues by identifying root causes with monitoring tools and logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
12 years of IT experience with strong focus on
APM, Observability, and Monitoring .
Hands‑on experience with
Dynatrace ,
Zabbix ,
PagerDuty , and
Alertbot .
Strong expertise in
Dynatrace DQL , extensions, API integrations, and
AI/OPS .
Proven experience monitoring
AWS ,
ECS , and hybrid/on‑prem environments.
Proficiency in
CloudWatch
monitoring and integrating AWS data with
Dynatrace .
Strong scripting experience in
Shell ,
PowerShell
and
YAML .
Experience working with
Azure DevOps
and managing PBIs.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with containerized environments (Docker, ECS, EKS, etc.).
Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code and DevOps tooling.
Experience in performance engineering or SRE environments.
