Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems has an exciting opportunity for the Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join our Space Digital Products & Electronics team located in

El Segundo, CA .

We are seeking engineers who thrive on developing cutting‑edge digital solutions. In this role you will design and implement digital circuitry that drives satellite functionality, ensuring seamless integration of digital components for efficient data processing and communication within the satellite.

Position Responsibilities

Design and develop state‑of‑the‑art digital circuit and unit hardware for aerospace applications.

Define electronics requirements, interfaces, and conduct modeling, analysis, and testing.

Provide technical support for production and testing of electronic products.

Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for electronic products.

Lead analysis of customer and system requirements and develop architectural approaches.

Lead development of high‑level and detailed designs consistent with specifications.

Lead reviews of testing and analysis activities to assure compliance with requirements.

Identify, track, and report technical performance measures.

Lead supplier‑management activities, including make/buy recommendations.

Coordinate engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.

Plan research projects to develop concepts for future product designs.

Work under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim or final U.S. Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret SCI clearance Post‑Start is required.

5+ years of experience with digital electronics, digital circuits, or digital electronics hardware.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

10+ years of experience with digital electronics, digital circuits, or digital electronics hardware.

Experience with digital, analog, and power electronics.

Experience with circuit design and analysis.

Experience with firmware, microprocessor, or other hardware.

Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science engineering, or a related advanced degree.

Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range for Lead Level: $138,550 – $187,450 Summary pay range for Senior Level: $165,750 – $224,250

Export Control Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance. A “U.S. Person” must be defined as a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

120.15 is required.
