Opportunity We are seeking a
CPA Senior Tax Accountant – Manager/Director
to lead, advise, and grow with our U.S. tax practice. This is a senior-level position for a technically strong, commercially aware CPA who brings both leadership capability and hands‑on involvement. You will work closely with the firm's partners, manage a growing team, and serve as a key point of contact for our most valued clients.
This is a new role for the U.S. branch and will require a candidate who can both manage the ongoing work and make recommendations on systems and processes to establish the long term growth of this department.
This role is ideal for someone who is not just technically excellent — but also deeply reliable, self‑managed, and invested in delivering exceptional client service from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee recurring reporting, client trackers, and deliverables — ensuring consistency, completeness, and up‑to‑date maintenance without oversight.
Manage and mentor tax staff, oversee task allocation, and ensure adherence to internal and client deadlines.
Lead and review the preparation of individual, partnership, corporate ( 1120 and 1120‑S ), and trust tax returns (primarily using Lacerte and QuickBooks Online), including projections and estimated payments to maintain compliance.
Lead and review the preparation of foreign informational returns, including Forms
5471 ,
5472 , and related schedules; assess exposure to
GILTI , and calculate and document foreign tax elections such as the
Section 962 election , ensuring proper treatment in both individual and entity‑level filings.
Oversee and review detailed work papers and support schedules for individuals and business, with varying adjustments and complexities.
Oversee the preparation of Compilation Engagements and Reviews, and complete review and sign off.
Collaborate with our international team on expat filings and U.S. compliance for foreign asset holders.
Serve as a primary point of contact for high‑value clients, building trust and rapport through responsiveness and clarity.
Deliver strategic tax planning, especially in areas such as real estate, high‑net‑worth, investment structures, and cross‑border taxation.
Contribute to business advisory projects, due diligence, and growth‑focused planning initiatives.
Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities in audits and correspondence.
Required Qualifications
CPA license (active or in good standing)
7+ years of experience in public accounting, with proven accounting, tax preparation and review experience
Strong technical knowledge in U.S. tax across individuals, partnerships, and corporations
Understanding and experience with international compliance forms
Excellent command of Lacerte, QBO, and Excel/Google Sheets
Demonstrated experience managing staff, deadlines, and complex client workflows
Technically proficient
– You have a strong command of accounting and tax principles, stay current with technical developments, and apply your knowledge confidently to real‑world scenarios.
