SAP EWM Lead
Location:

Experience:
6–10 years with at least 5 years in SAP EWM
Role Overview The SAP EWM Lead Consultant will be responsible for leading end‑to‑end SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementations and support activities. This includes requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and go‑live support. The role demands strong leadership, client engagement, and technical expertise in SAP EWM processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead SAP EWM implementation projects for decentralized and embedded deployments, managing full lifecycle activities—requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Solution Design & Configuration: Configure complex warehouse processes—including inbound, outbound, internal movements, and physical inventory; set up warehouse structure, storage control, RF framework, wave management, and warehouse order creation.
Integration: Integrate EWM with SAP modules MM, SD, TM and external systems such as Material Handling Equipment and robotics.
Team Management: Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams; conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer.
Documentation & Support: Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and configuration guides; provide go‑live and post‑go‑live support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 6 years in SAP EWM with a minimum of 2 full‑cycle implementations as Lead.
Methodology: Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and agile/hybrid delivery models.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in EWM configuration (RF, Yard Management, Labor Management, Slotting, VAS); knowledge of integration with TM, MM, SD, PP modules; familiarity with IDOCs and middleware such as PIP, OCP, IPI.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills; strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred
SAP EWM Certification.
Experience with automation—MFS, conveyors, robotics.
