Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud infrastructure and observability solutions, is seeking a Observability Engineer to join their team. As a Observability Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Observability team supporting modernization and standardization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Mid-Level 4-8 years of experience $65+ an hour
Senior Level 8+ years of experience $70+ an hour

What's the Job?
Partner with engineering teams to implement standardized observability patterns aligned to the company's framework
Advise and assist teams in adopting OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation for metrics, logs, and traces
Design and maintain application integrations in observability systems such as Prometheus, VictoriaLogs, Jaeger, and Grafana
Contribute to framework development by creating and improving dashboard templates, libraries, and documentation
Educate and enable engineers through workshops, pairing sessions, and reference implementations
What's Needed?
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience with software development, proficient in multiple programming languages
3-4 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure development/deployment, especially with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and tracing systems
