Senior Workday Recruiter at The Planet Group Sr. Workday PATT Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Workday PATT Analyst to join their HR Technology team as they prepare for a global Workday HCM implementation. This role will serve as a key functional expert for Workday Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Payroll, helping to configure, optimize, and support these modules across a complex, multinational environment.
The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience in Workday configuration and business process design, with a proven background migrating from ADP eTime to Workday Time Tracking. This is an onsite position in Houston that collaborates closely with HR, Payroll, and IT partners to deliver system enhancements, improve compliance, and ensure scalability for a global workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, test, and maintain Workday modules including Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Payroll.
Serve as a functional SME to support ongoing optimization and enhancement efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, testing, and deployment of new functionality.
Troubleshoot issues and provide post‑go‑live support.
Maintain documentation, configurations, SOPs, and training materials.
Lead or support Workday release management, testing, and user enablement activities.
Ensure compliance with local labor, absence, and time‑keeping regulations.
Create and manage reports and dashboards to support decision‑making.
Qualifications
Extensive Workday Time Tracking experience (top priority).
Strong experience with Workday Scheduling, Absence, and Payroll.
Demonstrated success migrating from ADP eTime to Workday Time Tracking.
Minimum 3+ full lifecycle Workday HCM implementations.
Deep functional expertise in Workday configuration and business processes.
Experience supporting global operations and compliance requirements.
Workday certification(s) preferred.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
8–10 years of hands‑on Workday HCM experience focused on Time Tracking, Payroll, Scheduling, and Absence.
7+ years in Workday consulting or HRIS leadership roles.
Experience supporting large‑scale, multinational HR environments.
Relocation Bonus Available for candidates not currently local to Houston
