About the Role

We’re seeking a hands‑on Network Deployment Engineer to design, implement, and optimize network deployments across enterprise and data center environments. The ideal candidate combines deep routing/switching expertise with modern NetDevOps and automation practices to deliver repeatable, reliable outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, build, and deploy network infrastructure across campus, WAN, and data center environments.

Implement VxLAN/EVPN overlays, spine–leaf architectures, and L2/L3 segmentation.

Configure and optimize routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, eBGP/iBGP, ECMP, STP alternatives).

Use NetDevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, testing) to version, validate, and promote network changes.

Develop and maintain automation (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) for repeatable deployments.

Integrate with VMware NSX or equivalent SDN for micro‑segmentation and overlay networking.

Create and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and deployment documentation.

Conduct pre‑deployment validations, cutovers, and post‑deployment optimization.

Troubleshoot complex L2/L3/VNI issues and drive root‑cause analysis.

Collaborate with Security, Platform, and Cloud teams to ensure resilient, compliant designs.

Provide knowledge transfer and support to operations for smooth handover.

Requirements (Must‑Have)

Expert in Routing and Switching (enterprise and data center).

Strong knowledge of VxLAN and EVPN (control‑plane and data‑plane, multi‑tenancy).

Experience with Automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform) or VMware NSX.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)

Experience with major vendor ecosystems (e.g., Cisco NX‑OS/IOS‑XE, Arista EOS, Juniper) and fabric controllers (e.g., NDFC, Arista CVP, Apstra).

Exposure to observability/telemetry (gNMI, streaming telemetry, NetFlow/IPFIX) and NPM/NDR.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), hybrid connectivity, and SD‑WAN.

Scripting proficiency (Python) for validation, templating (Jinja2), and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).

Knowledge of network security (ACLs, micro‑segmentation, firewalling, zero trust).
