Pay Rate: $2308.44 - $2543.99
55 bed OR unit and 6 beds in the surgery center. Daily census is 55. Total # of beds in the unit: 5 OR Suites. Average daily census: 35‑40 cases per day, 700 cases a month. Nurse-to-patient ratios 1:1 for all shifts. No Ancillary Staff. Patients range in age from Neonates to Geriatrics. Staff works in 8‑hour shifts. Unit patient population: General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro surg., GY, Vascular, ENT, Eyes, Urology, Plastics (reconstructions). Required certs: BLS, CST for scrub techs. Patient care delivery system: Team. Medication system: Pyxis profile. Special unit procedures: All surgeries except open heart. Documentation system: Combination. Supplemental staff required to float when necessary. Scrubs can be any color; RN provides their own scrubs.
