Overview We have a growing residential program in Raleigh, NC that provides individual and group therapy as well as cognitive/neuropsychological assessments to guide treatment planning for patients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. The role involves assessment and treatment for clients coping with adjustment disorder, depression/anxiety, PTSD, family stressors, personality disorders, abuse and substance abuse histories. The psychologist collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team and may deliver educational presentations and supervise psychology students.
Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group therapy in a post‑acute brain injury rehabilitation program.
Administer cognitive and neuropsychological assessments to inform treatment planning.
Provide assessment and treatment for clients in residential programs as referred.
Collaborate with therapists, physicians, families, and funders to support client outcomes.
Deliver educational presentations and supervise psychology students (opportunity).
Qualifications
A master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited institution.
Valid North Carolina license to provide psychological counseling services.
Valid driver’s license with responsible driving record.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
