Sr. Epic Certified Systems Analyst – Grand Central
Remote, full‑time, day shift (Monday – Friday) based in the U.S. (eligible for states: VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV).
Job Description Inova Clinical Applications is seeking a dedicated senior Epic Certified Systems Analyst – Grand Central to join the team. The role involves implementing and maintaining EpicCare systems, managing complex IT projects, facilitating releases, and communicating status to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance.
Analyze new releases and determine their impact on workflow.
Define modifications to application software or databases for system enhancements.
Facilitate Epic updates, new releases, and system enhancements; manage all testing phases and assist project scoping.
Manage complex IT projects/products to deliver automated solutions aligned with Inova Health System’s business needs.
Initiate issue resolution, escalating and communicating status to management.
Conduct technical and application reviews to assess feasibility, cost, and usefulness for Inova; coordinate vendor demos, site visits, and reference calls.
Recommend training programs and support team training/mentoring activities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree; or Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant professional experience; or high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience: 3 years of Epic build and implementation experience; 3 years of project management techniques in hospital or healthcare environments.
Certification: Epic Grand Central certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting the Epic Grand Central module.
