Role Description As a Test Automation Engineer II, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality software solutions by developing and executing automated testing frameworks. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, QA professionals, and DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and integrate performance testing into the software lifecycle. You’ll design and maintain automated tests across web, API, and integration layers, and help uncover bottlenecks through performance testing with tools like JMeter. You’ll also mentor junior automation engineers and participate in framework enhancements and code reviews, ensuring scalable, reliable solutions that align with best practices. Required Qualifications

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

3 or more years of experience in software testing or development, with at least 2 years focused on test automation.

Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter.

Intermediate programming skills in Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Experience automating workflows or integrations in cloud‑based environments.

Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Eggplant.

Proficiency with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

Experience testing APIs and performing data validation using SQL.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.

Safety National is committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market‑based compensation. The target base salary range for this position is $66,000 to $84,500. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
